TYE DYED FLOWER
3 coffee filters
stack coffee filters. Cut out center into a circle
Fold stack in half and make a small slit in the center
Open the stack and color with as many different colors as you like
cut small piece of paper towel, approximately 1/2 " W x 4 " L
place paper towel wick all the way through the slit made in center of filter stack.
Carefully place the paper towel wick into the cup filled with water, resting the top of the flower over the lip of the cup as not to get wet. The wick will absorb the water, saturating the filter paper and blending the colors together!
Remove the paper stack once it is saturated.
Dry for 5 minutes on paper towel
Carefully fold the stack in half and then in half again so that it is shaped like a cone
Use your pipe cleaner to create a stem. Pinch the bottom of the cone and pipecleaner together and wrap it tightly around. This part can be tricky but you can do it! Carefully open the layers of paper, reveling your masterpiece!
